1. Who we are

GigSlot is operated by Prystine Systems Ltd (CRO 724787), registered in Ireland. We provide a live music booking and management platform for hospitality venues and performing artists.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

Account data: name, email address, phone number, role (venue or artist)
Artist data: stage name, legal name, bio, social media links, payment preferences, self-employed declaration
Venue data: venue name, address, capacity, equipment, contact details
Booking data: gig dates, times, agreed rates, payment methods, bar tab details
Compliance data: digital signatures, geolocation at payment sign-off, device information, timestamps
Usage data: pages visited, features used, notification preferences

3. Why we collect it

To provide and operate the GigSlot platform
To match artists with venue opportunities
To create compliance records for cash payments as required by Irish Revenue
To send booking confirmations, reminders and notifications
To process subscription billing via Stripe

4. Compliance records

Compliance records (including digital signatures, geolocation data and payment sign-off information) are retained for a minimum of 6 years from the date of the gig, in accordance with Irish Revenue requirements. These records cannot be deleted during the retention period.

5. Payment processing

GigSlot does not process, hold or handle any payments between venues and artists. All payments are made directly between the venue and the artist (cash on the night or bank transfer). GigSlot only documents the payment agreement and sign-off for compliance purposes. Subscription payments for the GigSlot platform are processed securely by Stripe.

6. Data sharing

We share data with:

Supabase: database hosting and authentication
Stripe: subscription billing
Resend: transactional emails
Sendmode: SMS notifications (Irish provider)
Twilio: WhatsApp notifications (optional, when enabled by the user)
Vercel: application hosting
Sentry: error tracking and application monitoring

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase (subject to compliance retention periods), restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing. Contact us at info@gigslot.ie to exercise any of these rights.
