1. About GigSlot

GigSlot is a live music booking and management platform operated by Prystine Systems Ltd (CRO 724787). The platform connects hospitality venues with performing artists to schedule, manage and document live music bookings.

2. GigSlot does not handle payments

GigSlot is not a payment processor. All payments between venues and artists are made directly — cash on the night or by bank transfer. GigSlot only documents the payment agreement and sign-off for compliance purposes. GigSlot has no liability for payments between venues and artists.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Venue accounts require a valid business email. Artist accounts require acceptance of the self-employed declaration confirming you are responsible for your own tax affairs.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Venue subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. A 30-day free trial is provided on all plans. After the trial, if no subscription is activated, the account enters view-only mode. Artists always use GigSlot for free.

5. Bookings

When both parties confirm a booking on GigSlot, this constitutes a binding agreement between the venue and the artist. GigSlot is not a party to this agreement. Cancellation by either party should be communicated through the platform and a reason must be provided.

6. Compliance records

Compliance records created during payment sign-off (including digital signatures, geolocation and timestamps) are immutable and retained for 6 years in accordance with Irish Revenue requirements. These records cannot be edited or deleted during the retention period.

7. Self-employed declaration

By registering as an artist on GigSlot, you declare that you are a self-employed individual and that you are solely responsible for reporting income received through gigs to the Revenue Commissioners. GigSlot does not deduct PAYE, PRSI or USC from any payments.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use GigSlot to create fake accounts, submit fraudulent bookings, or misrepresent your identity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

GigSlot is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any disputes between venues and artists, missed gigs, payment disputes, or losses arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the preceding 12 months.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
